Returns & Refunds

We want you to love your Mumei shoes. If something isn't right, we'll make it right.

Overview

Returns and exchanges are accepted within 30 days of your delivery date, provided the shoes meet our return conditions below.

We offer full money-back refunds and size exchanges.

Return Conditions

To be eligible for a return or exchange, your item must meet all of the following:

  • Returned within 30 days of the delivery date
  • Unworn — no signs of wear, dirt, creasing, or outdoor use
  • In original packaging — original shoe box, tissue, and any included extras
  • Tags attached and in original condition

Items that do not meet these conditions will not be accepted and will be returned to you at your expense.

Non-Returnable Items

The following cannot be returned or exchanged:

  • Items marked Final Sale at time of purchase
  • Gift cards
  • Items showing signs of wear, damage, or alteration after delivery
  • Returns initiated after the 30-day window

How to Start a Return

Contact us

Email returns@mumei-store.com with your order number, the item(s) you'd like to return, and whether you'd like a refund or exchange. We'll respond within 1–2 business days.

Pack your shoes

Place them back in the original shoe box with all packaging intact. Pack securely in a shipping mailer or outer box to prevent damage in transit.

Ship it back

Ship to the address provided in our reply email. Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility. We recommend a trackable service — Mumei is not responsible for items lost in return transit.

Inspection & processing

Once received, we'll inspect within 2–3 business days and email you when your refund or exchange has been processed.

Refunds

Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days of our inspection confirmation, depending on your bank or card provider. Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error (wrong item shipped, manufacturing defect).

If you haven't received your refund after 10 business days, please check with your bank first. If the issue persists, contact us at returns@mumei-store.com.

Exchanges

We offer one complimentary size exchange per order. Replacement shipping is on us. If your requested size is out of stock at the time of exchange, we'll issue a full refund instead.

Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a damaged or defective item, contact us at returns@mumei-store.com within 7 days of delivery with photos. We'll cover return shipping and send a replacement or issue a full refund — whichever you prefer.
